We’re looking for a Insurance Claims Specialist to join us at our business centre in Bradford.

This role is hybrid working – 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.

We are looking for a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or someone with proven litigation experience to join our Insurance Department on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for running your own portfolio of claims resulting from road traffic accidents using a case management system and have access to some of the latest technology to help you in day to day activities. You will be supported by a Team Manager and Senior Manager to ensure you continue to grow and progress in your legal career.

What will you be doing?

Dealing with a portfolio of RTA cases across the Small Claims, Fast, Intermediate and Multi Track.Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents with precision and attention to detail.Updating our instructing clients on case progression and outcomes.Identifying and managing legal risk and escalating clearly and precisely to your Team Manager where appropriate.Supporting junior colleagues by way of providing feedback and training as well as leading by example.Staying abreast of industry developments, legal updates, and best practices.Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.Ownership of providing key insights and updates on matters to your Team Manager.Participating in business development efforts, including client presentations, marketing and networking opportunities.Attending meetings with key stakeholders and third parties.

We tend to look for people with: 

Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or someone with proven experience in civil litigation and RTA matters.Excellent knowledge of CPR, case law and litigation.Strong litigation skills with an eye for detail as well as a willingness and aptitude to rapidly grasp and adapt to new legal issues, demonstrating confidence and agility.High levels of attention to detail, prioritisation and accuracy. Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and an enthusiasm to get to the bottom of complex issues involving interacting processes and systems.Self-motivated, comfortable with working autonomously as well as working across multiple teams.A willingness and ability to support other team members at various stages of their career as well as a commitment to keep the team engaged and motivated.Strong negotiation and communication skills with the capability to engage with individuals at all levels.Excellent relationship-building skills, gaining client trust and understanding their objectives with an ability to adopt a commercial perspective to legal issues.Ability to identify process improvement and automation opportunities whilst ensuring effective resource utilisation.
