Summary You will serve as a Motor Vehicle Operator in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command in Public Work of the Department of Navy. Responsibilities You will maneuver trucks (e.g., pickup, dump truck, water trucks, fork lifts, platform trucks) in close quarters or confined areas maintaining the safety of the vehicle and driver. You will operate motor vehicles with an approximate gross weight up to 32,000 pounds when transporting hazardous waste or materials. You will load and arrange cargo for safe transit on public roads at highway speeds or similar driving circumstances. You will follow established practices to provide continuously safe and reliable operation of vehicles and equipment.
