Our work depends on an MVO joining our team to support the mission of the Sponsor by offering a variety of transportation services to ensure that the work force and senior leaders of the Sponsor Organization reach their official destinations safely and on time.

HOW A DRIVER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The office interacts with the entire Sponsor population, various offices and componentsThe office operates a large team of 70+ drivers to safely and successfully transport personnel, utilizing a variety of cars, vans and/or busesThis office is a fast-paced office and receives 80+ requests for chauffeur services per day. The MVO will receive Customer requests from the Dispatch team and execute the requests in timely, professional and customer service oriented fashionThe MVO verbally acknowledges driving assignments, verifies passengers and communicates with Dispatch any pertinent updates relating to the execution of driver assignments while being the main interaction between the Customer and this office. The MVO is upholding high customer service expectations of all employeesThe MVO will utilize a tablet to annotate start/stop times, track movements and also provide real-time metrics regarding driver assignments. The MVO will use available GPS units, provided by the Sponsor, to accurately complete driver assignments


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: High School Diploma/GEDRequired Experience: 1+ years of related experienceRequired Skills and Abilities: MVO must adhere to DOT standards and certifications. DOT certifications must be kept current at all times. The MVO is expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of current traffic, parking, and safety rulesMVO must possess and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Security Clearance Level: SECRETLocation: Customer on-site in McLean, VA

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $25.50 - $34.50. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
