Students learn about the work performed at NCDMV and gain valuable professional exposure. Based on need, there will be internship positions available for those in a variety of majors and professional fields. Numerous candidates will be selected from this posting for positions. These are not only summer internships – we have some internships available now. However, our summer program begins on May 12th. Work Session (Summer) : May 12th through August 8th Job Locations: Positions are located at DMV Rocky Mount Campus. Job locations depend on the availability and location of DMV projects, job requirements, and the student's needs and interests. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies Eligibility Requirements + Must be a currently enrolled student in an associate, bachelors, or master's level program at anaccredited institution. + Completed at least 24 semester hours upon employment. + Minimum overall GPA of 2.3 (based on 4.0 scale). + Must demonstrate GPA by attaching a transcript.
