Here at Bosch Motorsport North America, you'll be part of a growing, dynamic, and entrepreneurial team, taking on challenging tasks. **Job Description** **What you will do** As a Motorsport Engineering Intern within the Bosch Motorsport team, you will be responsible for the following: + Working with assigned mentor to support work prioritization, continuous learning, and career development + Leading one development project based on team's needs and student's interests + Supporting internal development projects with guidance from teammates + Creating and monitoring timelines to ensure on-time delivery + Adherence to applicable development processes to ensure expected high product quality + Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to own projects + Integration of continuous improvement practices into daily work to improve performance, timing, cost, and quality **Qualifications** Basic Qualifications: + Currently pursuing a BS in Engineering or Computer Science with minimum one semester completed + Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 + Must be 18 years or older, and eligible to work in the US without sponsorship + 1+ years of hands-on Motorsport experience (i.e. Formula SAE EV, HV, or IC) Preferred Qualifications: + Programming experience + Experience with modeling and simulation (i.e. Matlab/Simulink) + Experience with scripting (i.e. Python) + Ability to comprehend electrical schematics to debug software and electrical issues + Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (i.e. CAN, Ethernet) + Experience with test tools (i.e. digital multimeters, oscilloscopes) Ideal Candidate Characteristics: + Passion for Motorsport + Strong sense of personal accountability with demonstrable comfort in an entrepreneurial environment + Collaborative nature and team player oriented mindset, while also being able to work independently + Self-disciplined, attentive to deadlines, and effective at time management + Ability to articulate ideas and make contributions both verbally and in written form + Ability to problem-solve to develop solutions on own, breaking down complex problems into distinct parts in order to managing uncertainty and to anticipate interdependencies + Eagerness to learn and grow personally and professionally + Objective when presenting ideas, open to change and guided in decision-making + Self-motivated to continuously improve performance; outcomes-focused and driven to achieve challenging goals + **Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
