ABA Direct Support Associates 1st and 2nd shifts

Responsibilities

How You Can Make a Real Impact: 

Apply ABA therapy methods and techniques to teach important life skills and help children and teens achieve their goalsCarry out ABA behavioral treatment plans and help prepare individuals to eventually transition to other residential environments Provide assistance with activities such as personal hygiene, social awareness, meal preparation, money management, and housekeepingEmpower children to develop skills for daily lifeEncourage their independence through personalized plans of carePlan events and outings to build the Bancroft community Belong to supportive team that holds one another accountableCommunicate with residents, families, and guardians

Qualifications

Requirements for Direct Support Professionals in Residential Programs: 

 

High School diploma or GEDPrior experience in a related field preferred, for more acute programs requiredCurrent college students or recent graduates desiredValid non- provisional Driver’s License in good standing  

 

Please note: Specific programs may have additional education and experience requirements

 

 

Requirements for ABA Direct Support Associates:

 

Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment with a minimum of 60 credits toward a degree in Special Education Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work, Human Services or a related field required and looking to work 7a-3p and 3pm-11pm

 

All Compassionate Team Members Must: 

Be 18 years of age or olderHave a current, non-provisional driver’s license in good standingPossess a high school diploma or GEDWork well in teams and are open to learning new skillsHave the ability and willingness to work weekends
