(2,743m) lies Colorado State University’s 1,600-acre Mountain Campus. As a site for student learning, conferences, workshops, meetings, and retreats, the Mountain Campus offers a unique opportunity to leave the hectic pace of urban life behind and be immersed in the natural world of the Rocky Mountains. The Mountain Campus exists to serve the Colorado State University community and the surrounding region for academic field studies, educationally focused conferences and mountain research. Individuals will be selected for an interview through a screening process. Job offers will be made in the spring for summer employment and Mid-July for fall employment. The Mountain Campus is hiring to fill about 30 collaborative positions to accomplish many tasks: dining service, custodial work, light maintenance, administrative support, challenge course facilitation, and more. Search Contact EmailJessica.Smolenske@colostate.edu Position Summary Housekeepers take charge of cleaning the guest facilities and bathrooms including making beds and preparing comfortable guest spaces, setting up furniture and audio-visual equipment in meeting rooms, and transporting furniture, equipment, and supplies to various locations. Additional guest services, such as beverage station set up, stocking, and clean up, may be required. Staff must be able to lift and move objects up to 40 lbs., drive the housekeeping vehicle safely, learn the safe use of cleaning products, prioritize job duties, work within deadlines, and maintain a high degree of self-motivation. Crew Leader: The Crew Leader prioritizes and assigns housekeeping duties to be accomplished daily, participates in the duties, and keeps the crew on task. They complete thorough building checks to confirm reservation details are correct. The Crew Leader places orders for linens and housekeeping supplies, keeps an accurate calendar of days off for the crew, and reports directly to the Conference Coordinator. This is a leadership role but not a supervisory role. Full-season work availability preferred for crew lead position (Mid-May to Mid-October).
