The role of the Move Coordinator is to assist the FF&E, Space Planning and Move Add Change Team with the planning and implementation of relocations, logistic moves, furniture reconfigurations, and IT systems. This role is highly interactive with the client site population. A strong customer service focus and desire to provide direct assistance to the client population is required.

Provides operational and procedural support to ensure projects are executed in accordance with established departmental, building, and client means, methods, and procedures.Serves as client single-point-of-contact for day-to-day moves, adds, and changes, and project execution related to move management. Receives all requests for user moves and oversees scheduling, execution, and vendor management.Provide superior customer service and customer support for day-to-day activities and questions as well as project support for large moves.Supports the maintenance of a central database housing property floor plans, space configurations, furniture layouts, etc. Manages work orders / requests received in CAFM system.Ensures vendor compliance with building standards and policies, maintains as-built files and other documentation, maintains information in database system including furniture and move documentation.Obtains quotes and generates RFQs required for completion of MAC and simple projects.Issues work orders for approved projects to contractors, supervises furniture and related equipment moves, receives, and verifies invoices for payment.Produces regular reports and administers customer satisfaction surveys in compliance with established contractual performance indicators.Provides supervision and support for move projects.Physically move furniture, provide modular system break down and set up for small projects.Perform vacancy clean up and organization.Complete minor repairs.Respond quickly to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned.Complete all required C&W Safety Training as scheduled.Comply with C&W Uniform Dress Code while working and maintain a neat and clean appearance while on the property at times other than working hours.Drive company truck or van to multiple sites within Silicon Valley.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

One to two (1-2) years of experience in a technology environment

Strong knowledge of move process and furniture systems

Experience with database work order or CAFM system

Ability to develop excellent client relations, client management, and consultation skills.

Superior oral and written communication skills

Software competency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Visio

Client and customer service focused with strong organizational, technology and communication skills.

Must poses a valid California driver’s license.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders) and safely install rigging/lifting devices
• Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine
• Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work
• Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
• Ability to read and understand information presented orally and in writing
• Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, drawings, and schematics

The compensation for the position is: $32.00 - $42.63
