Summary:
The Move Manager manages all aspects of assigned Project and BAU (Business As Usual) moves from initial project hand-off, to move planning and post-move close-out. Responsibilities include but are not limited to development of move plans; communication and coordination of move plan with impacted colleagues, internal partners, and external vendors; managing HNB’s Move Partner; cost estimating; budget tracking; move/project scheduling; vendor coordination; organize and lead internal move calls and participate in Design & Construction project calls as required. Move Managers may also provide Project Management for select projects associated with moves, FF&E reconfigurations, and site decommissioning.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and manage move plans, providing ongoing communication to impacted colleagues and segment representatives as requiredDevelop and manage move budgetsDevelop and manage move schedulesManage internal partners including but not limited to IT, Security, Space Planning, and FacilitiesManage external vendors including but not limited to HNB Move Partner, Contractors, and SuppliersCoordinate and monitor the work of internal partners and external vendors to ensure successful moves and maximum benefit for HNBManage BAU moves using HNB work order system (currently SNOW)Plan and execute de-commissioning and clean-out of tenant space and owned propertyReview and process move invoices, tracking actual costs against budgetsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and competing prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProvide timely internal reporting as requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerpointLocal travel required, with travel outside of Columbus as requiredBasic Qualifications:
3+ years of corporate move and project management experienceHigh School Diploma Valid Driver's License.Preferred Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree and/or Project Management trainingProven track record delivering complicated project moves of 100 colleagues or moreCorporate Real Estate experience and familiarity with the construction and renovation processKnowledge of commercial furniture system products and installation, specifically MillerKnoll and HaworthExperience with sustainable practicesProficiency in Microsoft Project and/or other project management software#LI-Hybrid
