Position Summary:  Responsible for preparing service bodies for wash and paint by scraping, grinding, and applying caulk to various types of bodies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Scrape welded bodies using hand toolGrind welded bodies using pneumatic toolApply caulk to body seams on welded bodies by using mechanical and manual caulk gunResponsible for quality of productRequired to use an array of air tools, hand tools, tape measure, and caulk gunPerform all Safety and Housekeeping dutiesOther duties as requested, directed or assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements: 

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required as well as ability to read, write, and speak English in order to understand written and verbal instructions and document completion of workOrganizational skills and ability to multi-taskAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while exhibiting professional behaviorDecision making capabilities – ability to make decisions and solve problemsAbility to communicate effectively and professionally with all company personnel, vendors and customersPrevious manufacturing experience preferred

Definitions:                          C – Constantly (> 66% of the time)

                                                F – Frequently (34-65% of the time)

                                                O – Occasionally (< 33% of the time)

Work Environment:  This position operates in a plant environment of noise, dust, odors, and fumes.  Possible exposure to any number of elements, but none present to the extent of being disagreeable. Excessive heat in the summer time.  

Physical Demands:  This is a full-time position.  Must be willing to work overtime as scheduled and required.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):  Required to wear Safety Shoes and use Safety Glasses and Hearing Protection.
