Job purpose
BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Electronics Hardware Architect - Electrification. The Electronics Hardware Architect - Electrification is responsible for Analysing, Developing, Documenting and Allocating the Hardware Architectural Design on new and innovative power electronics products.

What we’re looking for
Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in engineering field, preferably electrical engineeringDesire to be part of deeply skilled team and to engineer automotive power electronics for the next generation of electrified vehicles, while working with some of the world’s top automakers3-5 years engineering experience; However, preference will be given to those with 5+ years’ experienceExperience with Polarion or other equivalent toolsFamiliarity with general lab equipment, Scopes, Meters, DebuggersKnowledge of safety analysis for automotive systems, ISO 26262 Functional Safety, DFMEA, FMEA, FMEDA and FTA analysisKnowledge of ASPICE, JIRA, AGILEExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsSome travel (less than 10%) and a flexible work schedule on occasionPreferred:Experience with developing architecture(s) for automotive power electronics applicationsFamiliarity with electric/hybrid vehiclesFamiliarity with electric drives and electric machine controlsFamiliarity with inverter, dc/dc converter and/or on-board charger topologiesFamiliarity with development of automotive embedded systems, system simulation and modelling tools (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink)Familiarity with development of on-board diagnosticsFamiliarity with design approaches to meet functional safety requirementsFamiliarity with structured problem-solving techniquesFamiliarity with automotive data buses (e.g. CAN)Familiarity of automotive microprocessorsWhat we believe
