Departmental Overview $10,000 Sign On Bonus Available NRHS Imaging Services is a full-service Radiology department performing over 200,000 studies each year, including screening exams, diagnostic testing, and interventional procedures. We operate at 2 hospital-based locations, 2 free-standing Emergency Departments/Outpatient Centers, and two additional outpatient specialty locations. We serve four Emergency Departments, a wide variety of Inpatient units, and hundreds of outpatients throughout the day. This is an especially exciting time for our department as we move toward the unification of our primary care hospitals with a new and improved department and brand new state-of-the-art equipment for all modalities. Job Summary Job Summary · Assess patient condition. · Performs MRI/CT exams. · Assists in the maintenance of patient scan information. · Assists in maintain MRI/CT units. · Participates in quality management activities. Qualifications Education Completion of an accredited two-year or four-year program in radiologic technology, accredited by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or the American Registry of MRI Technologists (ARMRIT) Experience In House Applicant: One year training in MRI. Two years’ experience in CT Scan. Outside Applicant: Two years’ experience in MRI. CT experience preferred. Requires knowledge of cardiac and peripheral gating, respiratory magnetic resonance imaging, and angiography. Licensure/Certification American Registry of Radiologist Technology or American Registry of MRI Technologists registered. Registered in either MRI/CT within 18 months of full-time assignment to MRI/CT. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment, IV certification required through course or during orientation. Qualifications Education & Certification Completion of an accredited 2 or 4 year program in Radiologic Technology accredited by either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). Registered Technologist in MR and CT specialty with the ARRT or registry eligible with attainment of registration within 18 months of employment. One year of experience as a registered radiologic technologist preferred. Additional one year of MRI experience or two years of CT experience preferred. Ongoing Education Requirements Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current BLS is required to be maintained through re-training for the duration of employment (provided by NRHS). Maintenance of Registered Technologist status throughout employment with CMEs as required by the accrediting body. IV certification required before or during new hire orientation. Completion of annual training as provided by NRHS.
