MRI Technologist - Radiology/Imaging Unit at Lutheran Health Network - Lutheran Hospital
Job Summary:Performs complex technical functions to operate MRI equipment to produce the highest quality exams.Assures emotional, mental and physical well-being of the patient. Sets up, adjusts, manipulates and controls a variety of magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnostic purposes.Responsible for protecting the magnet from the environment and environment from the magnet.Responsible for screening patients, and other customers from entering the magnetic field.Responsible for all equipment maintenance, repairs, and quality control measures.Will work with Evolve PACS, Star office, and printer systems.Will transport patients as needed.Must be able to perform exams on all ages (pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric).Education:
Successful completion of a radiological diagnostic education from an accredited program.Registration/Certification:
Current licensure with registration (or eligible for completion within a year of employment) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Current Indiana State Board of Health General Certificate for Radiographers. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is required within six months of employmentEqual Opportunity Employer
