UPMC Shadyside is seeking a flex/full-time MRI Tech Adv to join our team! Our technologists are expected to support both Shadyside Main MRI department & Hillman Cancer Center MRI department, offering daylight/evening shifts or exclusively night shifts. Weekends, holidays, and call responsibilities are required. 

Final candidates will be selected for a job title within the career ladder that reflects level of education, experience, and manager discretion at the time of offer.

MRI Tech Adv Responsibilities:

Performs or assists Clinical Specialist in performing QA, regulatory testing, and other technical and research initiatives. Demonstrates complete operation of specialty equipment, analyzes data promptly, and completes quality control activities. Assists with the training of staff and students. Demonstrates the ability to function independently, and is able to cover off shifts, on-call responsibilities, and perform services at satellite facilities, where applicable, while continually communicating with lead and management team. Promptly responds to medical editing requests. Participates in standardization activities with system-level workgroups.
