Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program requiredAssociates or Bachelor’s degree preferredARRT and American Heart Association BLS requiredMRI Registry required within 6 months of hireOther Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of MRI in all forms of diagnostic technology, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology, & human anatomy

Position Summary
Performs diagnostic MRI examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment byattending physician. Direct patient responsibility for geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patient care until the patient is returned to his/her room or until outpatient is discharged. Responsible to screen for magnetic hazards and to clear any patient, staff or family member to enter the MRI suite. Administering of contrast media if indicated. Proper utilization of both the Mars and Pacs systems to scan in appropriate patient information.
