Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of** **medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the MRI** **scanner including MRI safe practices. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of his/her duties in order** **to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on** **departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities.** **Scope/Span of Control:** **Supervisory Responsibilities (if applicable)** **Supervises FTEs: No** **Number of FTEs Supervised: N/A** **Exercises full management authority including performance reviews, discipline, termination and** **personnel hiring No** Education Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree Additional requirements: ▪ Type of degree: Allied Health ▪ Area of study or major: Medical Imaging Sciences to include additional MRI physics coursework or completed within 6 months of hire ▪ Preferred educational qualifications: N/A ▪ Position specific testing requirement: N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration ▪ CPR Certification required ▪ MRI registry preferred ▪ ODH licensure preferred ▪ ARRT RT (R) registry or ARMRIT registry required Experience Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience Prior job title or occupational experience: N/A Prior specific functional responsibilities: N/A Preferred experience: One year MRI experience preferred Other experience requirements: N/A Knowledge/Skills ▪ Cross-sectional anatomy ▪ American College of Radiology (ACR) MRI Safe Practice Guidelines ▪ Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) ▪ Proficient in Radiology Information System (RIS) and Image Storage 3 ▪ Knowledge of advanced MRI computer applications
