The MRI Technologist II performs advanced MRI imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and the production of high-quality diagnostic images. This role collaborates with radiologists and departmental leadership to optimize imaging protocols and standards. The MRI Technologist II serves as a key resource for MRI safety, quality assurance, and educational efforts within the department.

Qualifications
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred 2-4 years of clinical experience as a registered MRI Technologist required 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Expertise in MRI operations, safety protocols, and diagnostic imaging techniques. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with MRI equipment and imaging processes. Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized clinical environment. Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and imaging software systems.Licenses and Certifications
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required ARMRIT - Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist required BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required Advanced MRI safety certification (e.g., MRSO) preferred
