Job Title: MRI Technologist

Job Description

The MRI Technologist must adhere to the direction, policy, and procedures as defined by the physician modality director. The individual in this role is responsible for coordinating patient flow on assigned units to maximize productivity, ensuring that patient waiting times are minimized before, during, and after the procedure. Additionally, the MRI Technologist prepares exam rooms at each shift and between assigned cases, reports initial impressions to the Radiologist, and reviews the images before releasing the patient.

ResponsibilitiesAdhere to the direction, policy, and procedures as defined by the physician modality director.Coordinate patient flow on assigned units to maximize productivity.Ensure that patient waiting times are minimized before, during, and after procedures.Report initial impressions to the Radiologist.Review images before releasing the patient.Essential SkillsARRT certification required.Minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI technology.Experience with Siemens equipment preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Work Environment

The position is based in a hospital setting, specifically the number one trauma center in the US. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7am to 3:30pm. The technologist will be part of a team dedicated to providing high-quality care and advancing medical practices through education, innovation, and research.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00
