As our MRI Technologist at CHI St. Alexius Health in Williston, you’ll be responsible for operating MRI equipment and creating scans as per the physicians' directions, screening patients and explaining procedures to them, and inspecting and troubleshooting equipment. You should be able to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and also train junior MRI technologists.
To be successful as an MRI technologist, you should have sound knowledge of human anatomy and MRI safety procedures. Outstanding MRI technologists will be highly analytical and able to explain complex information clearly.

Responsibilities
Capable of obtaining quality radiographs of all body parts using proper exposure, markers, and shielding, and knows how to use portable x-ray machines and c-arms.Instructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test and prepares the patient for the procedureAble to access PACS, review studies, and perform basic functions for image manipulations. Resolve QA issues, close studies as reviewed, burn CD’s, transfer images, and print from PACS.Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate formsMaintains order, stock, and cleanliness of all areas in the departmentPractices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policiesUtilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Radiologic TechnologyRequired Licensure and Certifications
MRAD:NDBLS-CPRARMRIT or ARRTRequired Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
