Overview We are seeking an MRI Technologist to be a part of our team at the Blaine M Health Fairview Imaging Center! This position is eligbile for a sign on bonus stating at $3,000! The technologist plays a crucial role in patient care by producing high-quality diagnostic images in a friendly and accessible environment. This professional ensures age-appropriate services, adhering to established standards of practice while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining imaging quality standards, all while providing compassionate care to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting. Schedule: This position will be working 0.6 FTE (48 hours every two weeks). The shift will be on the day/evening shift. Responsibilities Job Description Maintains patient care Performs examinations Identifies relevant data from images accurately Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional. Ensures patient safety and emergency preparedness Documents patient information Ensures accurate film identification on all images Accurately completes computer functions-edits, status changes, logging Accurate film marking and jacket preparation Achieves quality diagnostic images by use of accurate positioning of patients and correct operation of equipment. Performs training and education duties Participates in the orientation of new employees. Responsible for the training of students Participates in the training of health care professionals and new employees. Maintains equipment Correctly operates and optimizes the use of equipment Understands the structure visualized and its significance Qualifications We are seeking an MRI Technologist to be a part of our team at the Blaine M Health Fairview Imaging Center! This position is eligbile for a minimum $3,750 sign-on bonus! The technologist plays a crucial role in patient care by producing high-quality diagnostic images in a friendly and accessible environment. This professional ensures age-appropriate services, adhering to established standards of practice while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining imaging quality standards, all while providing compassionate care to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting. Schedule: This position will be working 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks). The shift will be on the day/evening shift.
