Job Summary + Performs MRI examinations, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and promoting the philosophy of Avera St. Luke's, to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care. + Assist in clinical training of staff technologists and radiology clinical students. + Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department. Education and/or Experience + A technical degree is required. + Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent specialty and in good standing with the accrediting board. + 0-6 months of experience is required. + 1-2 years of experience is preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration + Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist. (ARRT, CNMT) Advanced certification in MRI is required. + Work Schedule + Varied shifts; Day/Evening ,72 hours every 2 weeks + Occasional weekend (Not usually required) + Occasional holiday (Every 4th) + Call time (Once a week and every 4th weekend) Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below.
