Operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain high-quality images used by physicians for diagnosing and treating medical conditions.Select appropriate imaging techniques and effectively operate the scanner's console and peripheral hardware.Enter and monitor patient data, ensuring accurate and complete records.Transfer images from disk to magnetic media to produce transparencies for medical evaluation.Develop film in an automatic processor to provide timely results for medical professionals.Rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish imaging goals.Perform a variety of tasks related to MRI operations.Qualifications:
Completion of two years post high school training in an approved school of radiologic technology.Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) or with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.We know it’s not just about finding a job.
