As the MRI Technologist you will
perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing
responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding of human
cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology.
You will be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient
positioning and image acquisition/formation. You will also need to apply your
knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and
visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room. You will:
+ Ensure accurate processing of radiology orders
+ Maintain accurate up-to-date records of procedures performed
+ Operate a variety of post-processing/3D workstations
+ Perform accurate image archival
+ Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media
+ Sensitively handle physical and emotional needs of the patient
Salary
Range: $49.73 - $65.56 Hourly
Qualifications

+ Licenses
+ ARRT and CRT - required. MR certificate required OR
+ ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) - required
+ Venipuncture certificate - required
+ BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
+ Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required
+ AA or BS - preferred
+ At least 1 year of MRI experience - preferred
+ Siemens experience - preferred
+ Ability to adapt to advancements and changing technologies
+ Ability to identify contraindications for exams
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal and independent decision-making skills
+ Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX codes)
+ Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology
+ Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
