We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** As an MRI Technologist at HCA Florida Englewood Hospital your duties will include but not be limited to: + Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment and obtain high-quality MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation + Facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast material + Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated + Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time + Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologist + Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with necessary supplies + Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care **Qualifications:** · Graduate of a 2-year, AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology · Valid ARRT (MR) · Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) · Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification · Minimum of 1-3 years of prior/current MRI Technologist experience · Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
