Responsible for inventory management of spare parts within Storerooms assigned to Maintenance Department of GE Vernova including receive, stock, cycle count as well as transport maintenance materials via warehouse equipment throughout the plant.

Responsibilities Ensure that all supplies within all maintenance spare parts tool cribs are properly accounted for, labeled, stored neatly in designated locations, and returned in a timely manner as needed.Issues tools, spare parts, and equipment to GE Vernova employees as needed maintaining accurate records of issued supplies using the processes and the appropriate database in place designated by GE Vernova.Receive, inspect, and unpack incoming materials delivered to the storerooms.Supplies received for inventory must be stocked in appropriate labelled locations. Support setting up stock location for new parts not previously stocked as required.Supplies received for GE Vernova employees or departments must be labeled appropriately and either staged or delivered to the appropriate locations as defined by GE Vernova.Participate in scheduled inventory cycle counts on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. Update and maintain inventory records as required.Pull inventory from shelves as required for preventative maintenance work orders and stage in designated area as needed or deliver as required to specific areas within the GE Vernova facility.Perform special projects as needed for continuous improvement of the storeroom.Maintain a safe and clean storeroom. Keep trash in designated containers for all office areas and storeroom inventory areas.Sweep floors as needed in all office areas and storeroom inventory areas.Clean workspace regularly. Qualifications HS Diploma or GEDMinimum of 2 years working in warehouse environment.Warehouse Equipment Operations  (i.e., Forklift, Reach Rider/Truck, Pack Mule, Cushman utility vehicle. Golfcart, etc.).Ability to work independently.Strong oral and written communication skills.Technology savvyDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.Ability to document, plan, fund, and execute programs.Intermediate skills in both Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OutlookMust be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the futureAbility to work overtime and meet deadlinesGood organizational skillsAbility to follow Instructions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS/MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS

Able to lift 50 plus pounds on a regular basis.Ability to work in high pace, client demanding environment.Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
