MRO Indirect Buyer/Maintenance Planner

The responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

Create/Extend/Change materials as needed.Provide reports/metrics for Past Due and Unacknowledged purchase orders.Coordinate special parts orders with maintenance and operations.Requests for Quotes on services and parts.P-card buys and reconciliation.Consistently monitor Good Receipts/Invoice Receipts for discrepancies.Creating and managing (BOM’s) Bill of MaterialsAssist with Cycle Counts of all MRO inventory.Assist in Obsolescence/Excess Review/ExecutionProvide needed reports to Maintenance ManagerCommunication of material issues or shortagesDaily maintenance spend.Weekly maintenance spend.Weekly open service PO report / job completion formsWork Order completionPercent planned work.Percent schedule workBacklog/Past Due work ordersMaintain Purchase information record updates.Become familiar with plant equipment and operational processes.Maintain storeroom stock level inventory to support plant needs.Process Maintenance Requests dailyCreate new equipment records, maintenance plans and task.Reserve materials on work order for planned and corrective work.Conduct Planning & Scheduling meeting with cross functional team.Identifies and develops projects for continuous improvement within the department and the plant, including reliability improvements.Works with Maintenance Team updating PMs.Supports other departments and project work as needed.

Position Qualifications

• B.S. in business, engineering, or supply chain required

• SAP or CMMS experience preferred

• Formal planner training or experience preferred

• One to three years’ experience in maintenance role in a manufacturing environment

• Food manufacturing experience preferred

• Machine repair background.

• Computer skills, MS-Word, MS-Excel, and CAD.

• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with individuals at all

   levels of the organization.

• Ability to define problems collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• Ability to interpret a variety of technical information

• Ability to understand people and have good inter-personal skills.

• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with strong time management

   skills and flexibility.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand or sit for extended periods of time. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee will be exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot too cold in temperature.
