MRO Manager
Imperium3 New York, Inc. (iM3NY) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) Manager. This position will be responsible for the management and daily operation of all aspects of the facilities function, and reports to the Director of Facilities. Imperium3 NY dba “iM3NY” is a startup Lithium Ion battery cell development and manufacturing company with HQ and high-volume manufacturing plant located in Endicott, NY. We have an advanced LMP cell that incorporates patented Bio Mineralization to create a BMLMP cell that leads the way in the category. We are well positioned for growth and expansion in the future by a well-conceived product road map with advanced chemistry for Gen 2 and Gen 3 products that are in advanced stages of research and development. JOB DUTIES + Establish and implement an inventory management system, with data research and entry. + Establish initial material par levels and adjust as appropriate based on volume usage. + Develop storeroom layouts and material assignments. + Identify ways to improve efficiencies within the material handling process. + Document and maintain operational processes and procedures. + Analyze and review daily material issues for accuracy and trends. + Implement corrective actions as appropriate. + Prepare monthly performance reports based on defined metrics. + Manage and maintain appropriate internal controls for the distribution, purchase, receipt and security of materials. + Add and remove materials from inventory as appropriate based on specific criteria. + Establish and develop an intermediate level knowledge base of the yet defined inventory reporting system. + Chair a Leadership Steering Committee responsible for review of MRO procedures with direct operational impacts. + Implement policies and procedures which promote staff safety + Maintain storeroom best practices and develop and maintain an understanding of purchasing policies and procedures. + Provide appropriate training as required. SKILLS REQUIRED + Proven track record of meeting maintenance objectives + Inventory Management systems comprehension + Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills + Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills + Understanding of Lean 6 Sigma + Proficient with Microsoft Platforms EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE + Multiple years of experience in Maintenance, ideally in a manufacturing setting + Multiple years of experience with using Inventory Management Systems + Bachelors degree preferred but not required
