MRO Material Handler Westminster Apply Description Essential Performance & Responsibilities MRO Stockroom Support Debulk packaging and dispose of packaging properly. + Verify PO, RMA number, Part number, and serial number. + Visually inspect unit for shipping damage, note and picture as required. + Receive material in ERP system per WA-8.2.1-02.1. + Notify management of any document discrepancy. + Status work order properly. + Pull the parts/completed product verifying part numbers, lot numbers, serial numbers (if applicable) and Qty match the Pick Ticket. + Check parts for visible damage and contact quality if questionable to determine if product is nonconforming. + Ensure all parts are not damaged in the picking and transit process in order to maintain part integrity. + Update ERP inventory by issuing pulled parts accurately. 11. At all times ensure proper location of parts by moving and adjusting part locations that are out of place or mis-assigned. 12. On-call during normal work hours for newly discovered or required items from technicians while working the order. 13. Adhere to defined priority levels for work tasks. 14. Expected to make educated decisions based on past practices, standard practices, and what is best for Air Comm and customer. 15. Periodically monitor the stocking shelf for incoming parts that need to be stocked and stock them according to the stock ticket to the appropriate location. 16. Update and assign stock locations as needed in ERP. 17. When scheduled, cycle count parts and submit cycle count forms. 18. Elevate large discrepancies in variances to leadership for review. 19. Ensure stocked parts are properly identified and placed in the correct location. 20. Work directly with MRO Lead on ensuring that there is enough work for each technician to cover each shift. Requirements Requirements Other Requirements & Responsibilities Collaboration & Continuous Improvement 1. Collaborate with quality regarding material requirements and documentation. 2. Work with manager to set and maintain a personal development plan to grow skills and abilities. 3. Identify process improvements with the goal of increasing efficiency in the MRO Team. 4. Clean and sweep the stockroom daily to ensure an organized and safe work environment. 5. Identify daily safety, quality, delivery cost issues and report to management. Minimum Qualifications + High School Diploma or GED. + Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing, technician, repair or similar role. + Minimum 2 years of experience in a logistics, warehouse or similar environment. + Ability to pass initial and random FAA Drug/Alcohol screening requirements. + Technical fluency in Office products and familiarity with ERP system. + Basic knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations, including applicable FAA regulations. + Basic knowledge regarding airworthiness directives and advisor circulars. + Basic knowledge regarding manufacturer’s service letters and bulletins. + Proficient math skills to calculate dimensional sizes.
