As the MRP / RCI Manager, you’ll join a collaborative team located in Pompano Beach, FL ensuring that our clients can deliver their services - uninterrupted. In this role, you will lead a two-person team that is responsible for conducting the Maintenance Rating Program (MRP) reviews and providing quality assurance of the roadway maintenance program through feedback from the MRP inspections. As the MRP / RCI Manager you will also be responsible for maintaining the Roadway Characteristics inventory (RCI) which is used in developing the routine maintenance budget. Responsibilities include: * Monitor and participate in the evaluation effort of random sample points selected by the State Maintenance Office. FDOT procedure 850-065-002 * Perform quality assurance (QA) checks and ensure survey results are entered accurately into the FDOT database for each cycle. FDOT procedure 850-065-002 * Analyze data and prepare reports to identify trends to aid in the planning of periodic and routine maintenance activities, and contract development. * Represent the Turnpike on the MRP task team and attend annual consistency workshop. * Collect inventory data of all maintenance features within applicable areas of the Turnpike System, and ensure all features throughout the system are entered in the FDOT database per FDOT procedure 850-000-001 * Perform QA reviews and ensure accuracy of data in the database. * Manage bi-annual Crash Cushion inspection report. FDOT procedure 850-055-003 Additional responsibilities: * Manage the Roadway Maintenance MRP SharePoint site. * Provide support to the Facilities Rating Program (FRP) inspections. * Analyze the Maintenance Management System activity reports for accuracy. * Provide workload data for the annual maintenance budget preparation * Provide technical support for the development of Asset Maintenance contracts. * District e-Maintenance coordinator responsible for monitoring the accuracy of data entered in the system, providing training, and liaising with the Office of Maintenance for system updates. * Coordinate the deployment of damage assessment inspectors post storm event, and present summary information to the Roadway Maintenance Operations manager. * Assist in the review of Pavement Condition Surveys; analyze results and identify candidate resurfacing projects. * Perform roadway inspection and provide report on asset conditions to support maintenance work needs scheduling. * Perform quality checks on GIS data to ensure information is consistent with actual field installations * Provide as needed support in the collection and update of GIS inventory. * Provide additional support to Roadway Maintenance for miscellaneous efforts as directed by management. Ideally, here’s what you will also have: * Knowledge of Temporary Traffic Control standards Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: The physical and environmental demands required to perform the essential duties of this position include standing, walking, sitting, coordination, balance and agility demands, which may include the ability to stoop, kneel, squat, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements. Additional demands may involve a specific level of dexterity, grip strength, climbing and cardiorespiratory demands. Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals.
