Mechatronics and Robotics Technician
Pay Rate: $28/hour
Location: Richmond, VA
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT) will be responsible for the following:
•\tInstall, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment (Ex: conveyors)
•\tComplete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures
•\tPerform battery changes, and preventive maintenance on batteries
•\tEnter downtime data in daily log, complete PM sheets
•\tElectrical, knowledge of basics components
•\tTroubleshoot and identify problems with equipment
•\tTrack and store the departments inventory, including spare parts
Essential Skills2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls.2+ years of experience in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.2+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.2+ years of experience following and demonstrating safety standards.1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.High school diploma or equivalent.Work Environment
Work in a large distribution facility with high-speed automation equipment, primarily consisting of robotic components. Be prepared to walk 10,000 steps per day and lift up to 49 lbs. Performance will be tracked by data and numbers. Candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, as positions are available for all shifts.
