Description
Seeking an experienced Exchange Engineer to join our internal IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the life cycle management of on-premises and cloud messaging services, including but not limited to Exchange Hybrid environment, Teams, Slack, and Mimecast.
Must Haves:
+ 5+ years of experience engineering and administering Exchange on-premises and/or Exchange Online, including hybrid environments, installation, design, migration, and retirement
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Copilot Technology: Understanding of Microsoft Copilot, including semantic indexing and data handling capabilities, and ability to support its integration with other Microsoft products
+ Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
+ Experience with Microsoft Teams and Slack for collaboration and communication.
Responsibilities:
• Include but are not limited to:
• Installation, design, migration, and retirement of the following services:
○ Exchange on-premises & Exchange Online Hybrid environment
○ Email security implementation and maintenance
○ Microsoft Teams
○ Slack
○ Mimecast Journaling
○ Mimecast Security
• Monitor and respond to critical emails/issues off-hours
• Interact with other teams to assist in troubleshooting
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience engineering and administering Exchange on-premises and/or Exchange Online
• Experience engineering and administering Exchange Hybrid environment
• Experience with Microsoft Teams
• Experience with DMarc compliance and implementation
• Understanding of SMTP concepts
• Understanding of Exchange on-premises and/or Exchange online mail flow
• Understanding of IIS
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.
