Job Title: MSAT Scientist III
Job Description

Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) Scientist III. As a member of the MSAT Team, you will be responsible for the successful transfer of viral vector bioprocesses into GMP production. You will work directly with our clients and internal cross-functional teams. You will ensure successful process scalability and manufacturability. In this role, you will oversee all process integration-related aspects during campaign preparation, process supervision, reporting during and after production campaigns, leading relevant major deviations, and continuing manufacturing process improvement under the supervision of a Sr. Scientist and/or Manager.

Hard SkillsTechnology Transfer: Handling all aspects of buffer and media production, cell thawing and culturing, harvesting, purification, and bulk filling of drug substances.Process Transfer: Performing process transfers from PD Lonza or customers under GMP conditions, utilizing project and time management skills to ensure timely task completion and risk management.Mastery and Expertise: Gaining mastery in unit operations and process analysis, resolving complex quality system deviations, and driving process and product quality improvements.Complex Tasks: Participating in technology transfer, oversight, and process improvements with reduced supervision.Materials Management: Assisting in creating a bill of materials and performing materials suitability assessments with a junior engineer.Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 18 Month(s).
