About the department
You will join the Cardiometabolic Marketing division, Semagultide Oral Department at Novo Nordisk. Our department is dedicated to driving the commercial strategy for our Semagultide Oral products. Alliance group is a collaborative and dynamic team based in Japan, focused on fostering successful collaborations and strategic partnerships to make a difference in the lives of patients. Our work environment is innovative, offering ample opportunities for personal and professional growth. The Alliance Manager reports directly to the Director of the Alliance Group.
The position
As the Alliance Manager, you will be a transversal function, that primarily aims at making the best out of our existing partnership with MSD. It is focused on human interactions and requires planning skills as well as long term view and strategic mindset. This is a unique function in Novo Nordisk (NN) Japan, which offers visibility and chances to collaborate with a very wide range of stakeholders.

Qualifications
Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or relevant field. Master’s degree in business is preferred with training in different disciplines related to sales & marketing. Minimum 5 years’ experience of partnership management. Transversal experiences in the pharmaceutical industry are a significant plus. Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication is crucial for seamless interaction with the team and reporting to superiors. Highly proactive, possessing excellent interpersonal skills, not fear confrontational situations and be capable of influencing others and fostering consensus. Moreover, a business-driven mindset is crucial for this position. Business level in English and Japanese is required.
