The Medical Scientific Liasion will provide medical expertise and strategic leadership to our Kidney Care business unit. Will work closely with healthcare providers to address unmet medical needs and optimize the impact of our therapies.
The Manager/MSL will be responsible for designing and developing an MSL panel and interacting with healthcare professionals. Design and execute the WWM Educational Program.
What you will be doing:Engaging with healthcare providers, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and regulators to build scientific support for our therapies.Developing and implementing a comprehensive Medical Affairs clinical and education strategy.Leading and participating in advisory boards, investigator meetings, and other scientific exchanges.Assisting in the development and delivery of education and training programs for the internal company (commercial and marketing).Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to develop therapy campaigns and product launches.Contributing to and providing medical review of scientific publications and market access publications;Providing support to the government affairs team.Collaborating with clinical research and commercial colleagues to ensure consistency in product lifecycle management.Ensuring compliance with all business policies and legal guidelines.What you'll bring:Bachelor’s degree in medicine or nursing (RN, NP, APRP).5+ years of proven experience in Acute Care (Critical Care Nephrology).Sepsis management experience strongly preferred.Strong organizational and project management skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environmentExcellent leadership capabilities and teamwork orientation;Strong management skills, decisiveness, and resourcefulness;Maturity, confidence, and credibility to advise and influence other internal stakeholders;Requirements:Availability to travel up to 40% of the time (US territory map).Baxter is committed to supporting the needs for flexibility in the workplace. We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $120,000 to $165,000 plus an annual incentive bonus and equity target. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
