Posting Number NONAC3467 Job Title MSM-Grady Charter School Program Manager Position Title MSM-Grady Charter School Program Manager Position Type Non-Faculty Number of vacancies 1 Salary Commensurate with experience Department Office of IMpact and INnovation Position Summary The Program Manager will provide full-time support for the coordination and management of stakeholder engagement activities related to the establishment of a health careers-focused charter school for 6th through 12th graders. This position reports to MSM’s project leader and supports the Office of Educational Outreach for Health Career (EOHC) and all other MSM stakeholders in the design and implementation of the charter school initiative. This collaborative initiative involves key partnerships between Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM), Morehouse Healthcare (MHC), Grady, redefinED Atlanta, technical colleges, and other community and industry stakeholders. The Program Manager will play a critical role in aligning stakeholder contributions, ensuring that MSM’s priorities are integrated into the initiative, and driving the successful design and implementation of this strategic project.
This is a grant-funded initiative and employment is based on the continuance of funding. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in education, healthcare administration, public administration, or a related field. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, or a related role. Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and virtual meeting platforms.
Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in in education, healthcare administration, public administration, or a related field. Experience in educational program development, healthcare workforce initiatives, or charter school design Familiarity with the mission and goals of MSM, as well as experience working with underserved communities. Experience in a higher education setting. Coordinate across internal MSM departments (e.g., Office of Educational Outreach and Health Careers, Office of Impact and Innovations, MHC, and the Office of the President) to align resources and expertise with project needs. Schedule, organize, and facilitate stakeholder meetings, ensuring alignment with the project’s objectives and timelines. Coordinate logistical arrangements for meetings, events, and workshops. Represent MSM’s interests in consultations and collaborations, providing updates and collecting feedback to inform project strategies. Develop and maintain a detailed project timeline, tracking milestones, deliverables, and deadlines. Prepare regular progress reports, presentations, and summaries for leadership and stakeholders. Manage project-related documentation, including proposals, meeting minutes, and action plans. Support the preparation of grant applications, budgets, and funding requests to advance the project. Foster relationships with community organizations, educational institutions, and industry partners to support the development of the charter school’s curriculum and programs. Ensure alignment of the charter school’s mission with MSM’s priorities in healthcare workforce development and community impact in collaboration with the Office of Impact and Innovation staff. Identify and recommend opportunities for additional partnerships and funding sources. Develop materials to communicate the project’s vision, goals, and progress to internal and external audiences. Advocate for the charter school initiative within the community, with government representatives, and among potential funding bodies. Perform related duties as required.
