About Program Mercury

Mercury is a large, multi-year, enterprise-wide process transformation that will replace more than 1400 EY business systems and related processes with an integrated, SAP centric platform that will standardize and harmonize activities throughout the organization and significantly improve how EY manages its business. Mercury is a key enabler of EY’s All-In strategy, directly supporting the efforts of many transformation initiatives across the Firm by streamlining the application portfolio, reducing operating costs and providing a platform to deliver services more efficiently. 

The Mercury solution is built upon the very latest of technologies (Portal, Mobile, SaaS) and a variety of hosting models (Cloud, Vendor and On-Prem). The SAP footprint is comprehensive, and the non-SAP components are varied. The user base at the final rollout is more than 400K.

 

About the Mercury Support Team (MST)

As an organization jointly owned by the business and Technology, the MST is a centralized and global organization which provides operational support for the delivered Mercury solution and support the Mercury user community. The MST plays an integral role in governance of the Mercury solution and the global template from both a business and technology perspective and will evolve to work closely with the business in enabling the benefit and value to be realized from the investment in Program Mercury and to set the future direction and technology road map to support EY All-In strategy. 

 

The opportunity

 

The MST Vendor Management Services (VMS) group is responsible for the relationships, management and governance of the vendors and suppliers engaged to support the Mercury Solution.  The primary activities of the group are contracts and agreements, vendor governance, contract compliance, performance and quality accountability and escalations.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

The VMS Operations Analyst will help to manage and participate in the activities which support both the VMS function and the management and governance of the vendors which support the Mercury Solution.  The VMS Operations Analyst must be able to navigate and flex within a highly complex and dynamic environment with a demonstrated ability to influence and drive activities to closure.  The VMS Operations Analyst must also be proactive, able to work independently whilst being highly adept at teaming and collaborating, taking the initiative and exercising good time management skills.

To qualify for the role you must have

 

4+ years project management experience Proven track record of successful delivery of projects Proven track record in continuous process improvement Excellent customer service, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills Experience working within a multi-cultural environment Ability to clearly articulate ideas and vision through meetings and documentation Some experience with vendor management would be beneficial
