Our strong belief and commitment to diversity shows not just through our work with supported persons, but is integral to the building of a strong staff that reflects the communities we serve.
At the schools under the program, their will be a clinical team providing mental health assessments to students and their families at our three Bronx-based Community Schools, JHS22, PS195 and PS123. The MHC will liaise with the school faculty of the three Community Schools and our in-house clinical team to provide interventions and participate in the development of individualized education plans to ensure that the clinical and psycho-educational needs of students are being met. In addition, the MHC will work closely with the school-based support team at JHS22 in recommending or creating groups or other school-based activities beneficial to the school community.
