MT Level II Technician - 2nd Shift Job Locations US-CA-Rancho Dominguez ID 2024-14282 Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Magnetic Particle Inspector that will be qualified to properly perform specific calibrations, specific tests and to record results in accordance with specific approved procedures. A Level I Technician shall be knowledgeable of preparation of parts before and after inspection along with having the ability to follow procedures in the technique/method for which certified. In this role the Level I Technician will be responsible for providing reliable results while paying close attention to safety and project timelines.

 

Salary: Starting $25-$28/hr

 

Responsibilities Perform test process checksPrepares parts for test, sets up and adjusts test equipment, process parts and interpret results and record test data and resultsMaintains related test equipment, tools, in good working conditionWorks flexible hours and overtime when requiredCompletes data sheets/work orders using prescribed technologyProvides excellent customer servicePerforms other duties as assigned Skills / Qualifications Experience with liquid penetrant processesPenetrant Level I per NAS 410Experience testing some combination of: Welds, castings, steel, titanium and aluminumExperience using industry specs such as: ASTM E1417, Boeing, GE, Honeywell and PrattAbility to organize and document NDT resultsFamiliar with testing codes and standardsMust be able to read and write English
