Are you in? **Primary Purpose** **PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION** Serves as single point of contact responsible for presenting Meter installation options and coordinating the design and construction of new or upgrade requests, demolitions, facility relocations, and contractor make safe situations. Responsible for providing service requirements, facility installation design, cost and labor estimates, service dates, all associated planning activities, and customer readiness status. Maintains all communications with the customer or customer's agent and is accountable for customer satisfaction and various performance indicators. **Primary Duties** **PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES** + Coordinate / Design C&I metering installations with Regional Operations DCC's related to New Business and Service Upgrade including the scheduling of the metering equipment installation. + Metering Design and Construction Consultant's (DCC) responsibilities include: Validate customer's needs and all pertinent information (load, service date, etc.) as designed by Regional Operations DCC. + Review and validate metering work order designs prepared by Regional Operations DCC that include the application of PECO construction standards. Review and assist in the preparation of simple and complex design; Assist in establishing Estimate Customer Charges as needed. + Accurately inform customer of proper policies and procedures as it relates to installation construction standards while coordinating installation of metering equipment. + Attend pre-design meetings as required; Schedule meter installation jobs; Communicate changes to scope/timing resulting from customer readiness. + Promote a safe work environment. Collaborate and communicate with construction personnel, customers and other utilities. + **Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.** + **Respond to emergency call outs and perform emergency functions as required (screener, dispatcher, Analyst, etc). Analyze outage information and provide location and possible cause specific information for construction dispatch and dispatch when needed.** **Job Scope** **JOB SCOPE** **Minimum Qualifications** **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Sciences, or Business-related fields and three years job-related experience. OR Minimum sixty (60) college credits in Business or Science related field with: three (3) years of experience in electric or gas facility design, and/or journeyman's level in field operations, and/or 3 years account management experience. OR High school diploma with: Minimum five (5) years of experience in electric or gas facility design and/or minimum five (5) years of experience as journeyman in field operations and/or minimum five (5) years of experience in account management. + Valid driver's license and insured vehicle for daily job site visits/inspections. + Successfully pass the Designer Aptitude Test. + Knowledge of PECO Energy electric/gas rates, tariff, and Electric Service Requirements manual. + Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills. + Demonstrated PC skills with work processing, databases, and spreadsheets. + Excellent attendance record. **Preferred Qualifications** **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** + **Technical and design experience in supporting commercial and industrial metering installations.** + **Knowledge and understanding of PECO and Industry Standards as it relates to meters and associated equipment** + **This is one of 2 positions in F&MS that will be supporting both electric and gas meter installation work** + **Candidate will be expected to perform additional ad hoc duties as needed** Exelon is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and employees or applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to: age, color, disability, gender, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status, or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.
