Description We are in the Wholesale Distribution industry, located in Morton Grove, Illinois, and we're currently in search of a Mulesoft Engineer. This role focuses on creating and managing API and messaging-based integration solutions with various internal and external systems. It offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Develop APIs utilizing REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and Web services
• Collaborate with other technical Leads and Architects to promote Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and reusable components across the organization
• Ensure quality through the implementation and execution of unit and functional tests
• Effectively work within a team environment to implement projects in a timely manner
• Assist in establishing patterns and best practices for MuleSoft throughout the enterprise
• Construct new shared services for use within the enterprise
• Apply industry standards for web service development best practices
• Create technical deliverable artifacts necessary for project implementation
• Engage with internal and external customers to promote software services and gain an understanding of their business requirements
• Estimate the size of backlog items and new APIs, translating them into engineering design and tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in MuleSoft technology is mandatory.
• Extensive experience in MuleSoft development is required.
• Knowledge of JDE EnterpriseOne is a must.
• Experience in the wholesale distribution industry is preferred.
• Ability to design, develop, and manage services and integration processes using MuleSoft Anypoint platform.
• Strong understanding of MuleSoft best practices and its core principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex MuleSoft issues.
• Experience in implementing MuleSoft architecture, rules, caching, etc.
• Proficiency in developing MuleSoft APIs and MuleSoft Anypoint as ESB.
• Understanding of MuleSoft Deployment/Physical architecture(On Prem, on Cloud and Hybrid).
• Ability to create MuleSoft custom connectors with third-party applications.
• Familiarity with MuleSoft Community and Enterprise capabilities.
• Must be able to translate business requirements into system design and perform in-depth data analysis.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork-oriented.
