Job Description: Multi-Asset Product Analyst

The Product Analyst will report to the Head of Multi-Asset Business Development - Americas and will primarily interact with the product team, senior investment professionals and the global sales force (including US, EMEA, Asia ex-Japan, Japan and LatAm).  They will focus on the positioning, marketing of, and servicing of the firms suite of outcome oriented Multi-Asset portfolios.  The Product Analyst’s primary responsibilities include: 

Maintaining deep, product-related knowledge for our global multi-asset strategies, including investment process, portfolio positioning, performance, attribution, assets, portfolio management team members, and investment updates

Preparing regularly scheduled (quarterly, monthly) client servicing materials

Researching and fulfilling ad hoc inquiries and requests from clients, Advisors, Associates or other client-facing professionals for portfolio attributes, market views, outlooks, and current investment strategy and positioning.

Preparing and updating marketing presentations used for new business development, including customizing them as needed for finals presentations

Analyzing and reporting on the competitive positioning of our products

Assisting with the product development process for new, or evolving, portfolios


This position will provide the opportunity for:

High level of exposure to senior investment professionals, including attending their investment strategy meetings

An in-depth education of the global markets, instruments and investment strategies

Involvement in bringing new business into the firm

Interaction with many business units globally (US, EMEA, Asia, LatAm) including Product Development, Marketing, Legal and Compliance, SRG, Sales

Being a major contributor to a small team in a large growth area of the firm

Job Qualifications

An understanding of capital markets, the asset management business, and the sales process

Highly motivated self-starter; ability to work both independently as well as part of a team

Highly organized with strong analytical skills. Attention to detail is exceptionally important

Strong verbal and writing skills. Creativity and a marketing “sense” is a distinct plus

Must be a direct “do-er” of work, not a “delegator” or “coordinator” of work done by others

Ability to thrive in a busy, deadline-driven work environment. Works well under pressure

Ability to multi-task and meet multiple strict deadlines simultaneously

Effective time management and data management skills  

Ability to collaborate well with fellow Product Team members and other colleagues globally

Candidate should have:

BA/BS in Finance or related field 

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Strong quantitative orientation

2-4 years of work experience in the financial industry

Plans to pursue a CFA or MBA a plus
