Job Description
• Perform preventative and repair maintenance on production machinery, motors, conveyors, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. • Install parts/instruments according to schematics or operation manuals. • Follow blueprints, sketches, job requests, code books, or operation manuals. • Maintain records of PM and unscheduled maintenance work. • Order parts or supplies when necessary. • Assist production as necessary to maintain material throughput. • Assist production with equipment set-ups or root cause analysis. • Actively participate and support continuous improvement initiatives. • Coordinate maintenance activities with management and production team to maximize utilization of plant equipment and operating efficiency. • Adhere to safe working policies and procedures. • Actively participate and support safety initiatives to ensure compliance with OSHA (federal and state), company, and environmental policies and procedures.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Salisbury, NC.
Work Environment
Non climate controlled, somewhat dirty machine shop/metal fabrication/manufacturing environment.
Pay: $30-$32/hr, depending on experience
Shift: 3rd
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00pm to about 3:00am, some OT on Saturdays on occasions, but not often
Weekly Hours: probably 45-55
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00
