**Job Title: Multi Craft Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Sunbury, OH location. Under general guidance, you will be responsible for planning, maintenance (mechanical and electrical), and inventory control of equipment. You will make recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the group and increase customer satisfaction. Additionally, you should be capable of checking your work for completeness, accuracy, and logical rationality. This role requires a consistent desire to learn and train in various areas including Electrical, Electronics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Fabrication, Plumbing, PLC, HVAC, Fluid Mechanics, and mechanical repairs/troubleshooting. The position involves 2nd shift hours from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with overtime required every third Saturday and potential additional hours based on production output. Initial training will be on 1st shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, for approximately 4-6 weeks, depending on the learning pace. **Responsibilities** + Perform maintenance duties involving mechanical and electrical functions. + Control inventory of equipment. + Make recommendations to improve group effectiveness and customer satisfaction. + Check work for completeness, accuracy, and logical rationality. + Propose improvement projects for processes and production lines to reduce maintenance and optimize efficiency. + Submit parts and tool requirements through materials requisitions or direct entry into the inventory system. + Support and assist the Planner Scheduler in communication of work assignments and required parts. + Offer helpful and constructive suggestions to improve equipment care. + Follow policy and procedures consistently throughout the plant. + Commit to continuous learning to achieve multi-skilled technician status. **Essential Skills** + Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting + Experience with 480V / 3-phase motors + PLC controls + Hydraulic and pneumatic schematics **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Fanuc robotics + Knowledge of Japanese Automotive Manufacturing + Experience with automation + Welding and fabrication skills + CNC mill and lathe (Mazak, G+M code) + Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook for maintenance tracking system **Why Work Here?** You will work in a fast-paced environment where integrity and pride in work are valued.
