**Job Title: Multi Craft Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Observe the functioning of installed equipment to detect hazards, problems, and the need for service, repair, and/or replacement of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components. Discuss performance issues and improvement ideas with technical staff, read and understand electronic and electrical/mechanical schematics, and draw sketches to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units. Assemble experimental circuitry of complete prototype models according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components and their functions. Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair solid-state motor drives, solid-state temperature controllers, and computer-based controllers. Set up standard test apparatus or contrive test equipment and circuitry; conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production models. Analyze and interpret data from solid-state motor drives and controllers, scope meters, and other troubleshooting equipment. The mixing department is quite dirty, working with chemicals like carbon black, though PPE is offered but not required. The curing department is very hot, working with molds. Other areas of the warehouse are clean and climate-controlled.
