**Job Title: Multi Craft Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
Observe the functioning of installed equipment to detect hazards, problems, and the need for service, repair, and/or replacement of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components. Discuss performance issues and improvement ideas with technical staff, read and understand electronic and electrical/mechanical schematics, and draw sketches to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units. Assemble experimental circuitry of complete prototype models according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components and their functions. Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair solid-state motor drives, solid-state temperature controllers, and computer-based controllers. Set up standard test apparatus or contrive test equipment and circuitry; conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production models. Analyze and interpret data from solid-state motor drives and controllers, scope meters, and other troubleshooting equipment. Adjust, calibrate, and align circuitry and components, and record effects on unit performance.
**Responsibilities**

+ Read and understand electronic and electrical/mechanical schematics; draw sketches to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units.
+ Assemble experimental circuitry of complete prototype models according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components and their functions.
+ Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.

**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a PLC or Maintenance Mechanic role in an industrial environment.
+ Strong engineering and technical skills including PLC, Electrical, and Mechanical skills.
+ Ability to conduct basic mathematical calculations.
+ Proficient in using electrical test instrumentation.
+ Good communication skills to work with plant personnel and vendors.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Understanding of Continuous Improvement methods.
+ Computer skills (MS Office, HMI, Control Logic).
+ Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming/troubleshooting skills.
+ Ability to maintain backups of programs from all electrical devices.
+ Capability to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions of newly installed equipment.
+ Ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Possess an ability to conduct basic mathematical calculations.
+ Be able to use electrical test instrumentation.
+ Have good communication skills to work with plant personnel and vendors.
+ Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
+ Understanding of Continuous Improvement methods.
+ Computer skills (MS Office, HMI, Control Logic).
+ Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming/troubleshooting skills.

**Work Environment**
Work in a very automated facility. The mixing department is quite dirty, working with chemicals like carbon black, though PPE is offered but not required. The curing department is very hot, working with molds. Other areas of the warehouse are clean and climate-controlled. Bicycles are available to move from department to department in the 1-foot facility.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Richburg, South Carolina.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
