Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will participate in installations and start-up assistance for new installations and equipment modifications, discover methods to improve efficiency, and ensure quality standards. Effective communication with other shifts, operators, and technicians is essential to give and receive updates on equipment status. You will interpret blueprints and schematics, implement methods and techniques of maintaining production facilities, systems, and equipment, and perform various types of maintenance on all equipment. **Responsibilities** + Participate in installations and start-up assistance for new installations and equipment modifications. + Discover methods to improve efficiency and ensure quality standards, both individually and as part of a team. + Communicate with other shifts, operators, and technicians to give and receive updates on equipment status. + Interpret blueprints and schematics, implement methods, practices, and techniques of maintaining production facilities, systems, and equipment. + Perform Preventive, Predictive, Project, and Reactive maintenance on all equipment. + Perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems and equipment, collecting performance data for early diagnosis of potential malfunctions. + React quickly to down equipment, evaluate issues with effective troubleshooting and data analysis, determine root causes, and execute/expedite repairs to restore equipment to safe and efficient operational status. + Maintain accurate service records to monitor equipment performance. + Input appropriate work order and equipment repair data into the maintenance management system, as appropriate to assigned tasks. + Rebuild, repair, and reassemble machines and equipment. **Essential Skills** + Preventative and reactive industrial maintenance + Mechanical and 480v electrical maintenance + Reading blueprints and schematics + Part repair and replacement + Troubleshooting, diagnostic work, and fixing breakdowns + Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting + Reading ladder logic + Checking PLC inputs and outputs with a multimeter + Pneumatics and hydraulics + Robotics troubleshooting and rehoming and recalibrating robotic arms + Electrical cabinet troubleshooting and maintenance + Electrical meters + 3-phase motors + Variable frequency drives + Some welding and metal fabrication **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in an automated facility with robotics, conveyors, and AGV. + Associates/technical degree preferred if only 1-2 years of experience. + Team player with flexibility to work in all departments when necessary. + Knowledge of industrial maintenance systems, equipment controls, and safety circuits. + Hooking up laptops to read and make adjustments to ladder logic for PLCs. + Willingness/ability to attend formal training courses to learn PLC programming. + Working with servo motors for robotic equipment. + Knowledge of OSHA requirements, including Electrical Safety, Machine Guarding, confined space, and Lockout/Tagout Procedures. + Demonstrates team spirit, shows flexibility, and has a positive attitude as an active team contributor. + Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. **Why Work Here?** You will be working in a new plant with climate-controlled areas, receiving in-depth training, and being part of an inclusive team environment. The facility is very clean, providing a comfortable and efficient workspace. **Job Type & Location** This is a direct-hire, permanent position based out of Dayton, TN. **Pay:** $29-$34/hr base rate PLUS $2 differential when training is completed and you move to night shift, so $31-$36/hr, depending on experience **Shift:** 12-hr nights; 6:00pm-6:30am or 7:00pm-7:30am **Schedule:** 2-2-3 **Weekly Hours:** 36+ one week, then 48+ the next, cycling back and forth **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $60320.00 - $66560.00/yr. Every 6 months the candidate will have the opportunity to test for a higher level pay/ title (technician II -> technician III). Annual bonus percentage possibility, Cigna Benefits, Cigna Dental, Cigna Vision.
