Sodexo is seeking an Multi-Service Operations Manager 1 for RWJBH-NBI- Children of New Jersey, located in Newark New Jersey. This is over a 600-bed acute care facility. In this role you will be responsible for the Certified Nursing Assistance, which are on the client payroll. This is a day shift position, with some weekends and holidays. This position reports directly to a General Manager on-site. We are looking for candidates who can:Implement performance improvement and quality assurance programs targeted to improve patient satisfaction and throughput.Interact with patients and the staffPerform HR functions including hiring, orientation, training, payroll and direct supervision and developmentMaintain safety documentation and training for unitThe ideal candidate will have the following:Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policiesStrong management skills, preferably in health careStrong team building and employee engagement skillsStrong hospitality focus - be engaged and interactive with all our customers and employeesStrong drive to make things happenKnowledge of best practices in Patient safety What We Offer

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.
Qualifications & RequirementsBasic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in functional areas such as call center technology, computer applications, process improvement, or related areas
