Carter Lumber is looking for a Multi-Family Truss Estimator who will be responsible for estimating plans for multi-family components. You will ensure drawings are produced accurately and promptly based on blueprints provided by general contractors. Knowledge of commonly used concepts and practices within the construction industry is essential. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.
Requirements to be Considered for this Position:

Knowledgeable in the basic aspects of construction pertinent to Roof/Floor trusses and wall panelsKnowledge of Plan Swift software is a plusHigh level of knowledge in the application of the products being designedCompetency in basic mathematics, geometry, and trigonometryKnowledgeable in reading architectural and structural plansAbility to analyze, troubleshoot, and problem solveStrong verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and OutlookResponsibilities of the Position:
