Multi-Location ADC Donor Greeter/Processor

SUMMARY:
The Multi-Location ADC Donor Greeter & Processor is responsible for production in the hard lines department. This individual will price and tag / label products according to standard operating procedures.
This position is also responsible for sorting, cleaning, and packaging merchandise to be shipped and sold at stores.
When needed, the ADC Donor Greeter & Processor is responsible for including but not limited to general donation center related duties such as; accepting donations, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, neat and safe work environment. This person will cover multiple locations throughout the Goodwill of the Finger Lakes territory.
They will also provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
This position may also be cross-trained and responsible for additional duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: PRODUCTION
+ Accurately assess and sort hard line products based on quality standards.
+ Accurately tag and label products based on pricing guide system.
+ Generates a minimum of 8,000.00 in store sales from items produced during every two-week production period.
+ Maintains a production minimum of 40 totes per day.
+ Continuously put forth effort in increasing and demonstrating knowledge of hardline items.
+ Ensure safety procedures are followed during packing and movement of equipment.
+ Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude toward our customers and team members.
+ Greet customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
+ Must always follow Goodwill of the Finger Lakes values.
+ Address customer concerns in a courteous and respectful manner, while following retail policies. Seek assistance from a supervisor, when necessary, to resolve concerns.
+ Act as a positive member of the team by receiving and providing ideas or concerns to coworkers and management in a timely and supportive fashion.
+ Maintains clean, stocked, and prepared workstations, requests needed supplies to supervisor.
+ Maintains interior and exterior of store in a neat, clean, organized manner (including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, mopping floor)
+ Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: DONOR GREETER
+ Greet customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner within 10 seconds of arrival.
+ Maintain a friendly, helpful attitude toward the customer. Must always possess professional etiquette.
+ Assist donors in bringing in donations and filling out necessary forms.
+ Records donations using the daily tracking methods.
+ Sorts donations into proper equipment for transportation.
+ Properly label all outgoing equipment.
+ Responsible for assisting in loading and unloading of merchandise and equipment onto/off trucks as needed.
+ Covers donation locations in emergency situations and will be compensated for milage accordingly.
+ Maintains interior and exterior of store in a neat, clean, organized manner (including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, mopping floor).
+ Address customer concerns in a courteous and respectful manner, while following retail policies. Seek assistance from a supervisor, when necessary, to resolve concerns.
+ Act as a positive member of the team at the store by receiving and providing ideas or concerns to coworkers and management in a timely and supportive fashion.
+ Ensure accurate payment collection if necessary.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. This position is required to work weekends and holidays.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous retail experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
+ Ability to read and understand documents such as receipts, timecards, policy manuals.
+ Ability to write routine reports.
+ Ability to speak effectively and communicate clearly to other employees and customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Basic math skills required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is usually working in a comfortable environment. At times this employee may be exposed to the outside environment when receiving donations. The employee will mostly be in a solitary work environment.
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires flexible scheduling including days, weekends, and holidays. This position will cover multiple locations and does require on call hours.
