At our core, we’re a company that believes we can always create a better way. Quad is currently seeking a Multi Mailer Operator to work at the Sussex, WI facility. Our Multi-Mailer machines merge the mail streams of several different pre-bound periodical or catalog titles to create one large mailstream that qualifies for postal presort discounts. Job duties for this position include, but are not limited to: + Set up, run, and maintain multi-mailer machines + Observe and monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are needed. + Perform routine adjustments, as well as basic maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned equipment during the shift + Check order documentation, verify accuracy, and communicate order information and additional instructions to support staff to prepare for order production. + Establish the most efficient manner to run the product through the assigned machine to produce the expected quality and quantity. + Make ready for production by setting up machine components to create products in line with customer specifications. + Responsible for training and directing the crew Qualifications + Previous experience running multi-mailers, postal regulations, and inkjet knowledge preferred. + Previous Finishing Operator (Saddle Stitcher, Perfect Binder, Multi-Mailer, Polywrapper, and Inkjet experience, including the ability to set up and operate bindery equipment is required. + Ability to understand and follow finishing and mailing guides. + Mechanically inclined + Excellent attendance record, self-motivated, and good interpersonal & communication skills. + Positive attitude and team player with demonstrated leadership abilities + The ability to bend and lift 10-20 pounds continuously, up to 50 pounds at times, stand for long hours, use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions, and use vision to identify defects. + The ability to work a compressed work schedule - 12-hour rotating shift (either 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.), including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Additional Information The actual rate of pay offered will vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location.
