JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the repair of a wide variety of specialized equipment in an assigned group of 7-Eleven  (family of brands) stores within a geographic area. Service calls are initiated from the store via 7Help work orders to appropriate technician.  Position reports to the Area Facilities Manager.  

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responds to work orders for a wide variety of in-store equipment which include, but may not be limited to Minor repairs of HVAC, minor repairs to refrigeration, hot beverage equipment (ex. coffee, cappuccino) , cold beverage equipment (ex. tea, fountain, FBD, FCB, creamer machine), fountain/backroom ice makers, Hot food equipment (ex. fryers, griddles tortilla presses, ovens, roller grills, warmers), fuel dispensers (ex. printers, displays card readers, hanging hardware) etc.Responds to work orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issuesResponsible for ordering and management of parts inventory on truckResponsible for replacing ‘plug and play’ equipment as neededSchedules and prioritizes duties and work assignments on a daily basisResponsible for ordering and management of parts inventory for truckCompletes required reports and paperwork daily to account for the time and use of parts and materialsObserves and inspects equipment to determine if servicing or further action is requiredReads, interprets, and follows procedures described in service manuals per manufacturer guidelinesCalibrates pumps, dispensers and other equipment in accordance with legal standardsRecommends when an outside contractor is required to handle a maintenance issueProvides training to less experienced technicians as neededCompletes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by managementComplies with and follows all safety regulations and protocols

Required:

Strong communication skills, able to interact with store staff and customersValid driver’s license and good driving record; responsible to drive company vehicleAbility to work independently and be self-motivated.Basic computer knowledge

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: High School/GED

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 2+ years
